Rossi to Appear on Motogp Aragon After Injury?

Yamaha Movistar rider Valentino Rossi is rumored to have a chance to appear on the next Aragon MotoGP race.

However, Rossi and Yamaha do not want to make sudden commitments. The physician said that Rossi is constantly trying to recover from injuries from tibia and fibula fractures on his right foot. He suffered a double leg break in an enduro training accident in Italy.

But this won’t stop him in any way! Quite a month after the accident, he’s back on his bike and race track again.

Yamaha said that the nine-time world champion will undergo several medical tests. Team manager Lin Jarvis said it was “virtually impossible” for Rossi to be fit in time for the Spanish event. However, Rossi, then completed two road bike test days at Misano to assess his fitness and had a subsequent medical examination which he passed.

Yamaha then released a statement which read: “After 17 days of recovering, Rossi got his first laps in at Misano last Monday and Tuesday, before undergoing a medical examination today”.

Yamaha appointed Michael van der Mark as his successor to MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix but Rossi’s comeback plan was quite surprising and said: “But already this morning I felt quite good – I could ride, with some pain but not too much, so I could concentrate on the riding.”

Even though he seems to feel fine, he will need to successfully accomplish a compulsory physical check by the MotorLand Aragon chief medical officer before he can be declared fit to take part in the weekend race.

How would this affect his standing on the race? See the odds on motorbikes betting at William Hill and check if Rossi’s still one of the favorites to win the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix.
